Martial arts fitness training designed for older Adults and Seniors. This program will reduce impact on joints and muscles while providing a great workout at the rate desired by the student. Stretching and flexibility will be used to loosen tightness and increase technique ability.

Dr. Corrie Lynn Graboski MD FRCPC PM&R, CSCN Electrodiagnostics
Dr. Graboski completed medical school at the University of Western Ontario and these did her Residency training in the Specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from 2002-2007 at the University of Alberta. She moved to Victoria after graduation and has continued to work in a variety of settings including sports medicine, chronic pain, headaches, amputee and stroke rehabilitation medicine and pediatric rehabilitation. Her main practice is in Brentwood Bay where she is the Medical Director of Bayside Medical Centre. She also consults to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, Queen Alexandra Hospital for Children and the Royal Jubilee Hospital.
Dr. Graboski began karate 5 years ago, training under Sensei Cory Hastings. It is her goal to reach her black belt. She loves teaching and hopes to bring this passion to the dojo and help other students with their karate progress.
Dr. Graboski has been Hasting's Martial Art's "dojo doctor" since she started training. She is working with Sensei Hastings to develop a karate program for older adults that is safe and effective and hopes to bring the benefits of karate to adults of all ages and fitness levels. One of her favourite sayings is that "movement is medicine" and she feels strongly that martial arts is a great way to improve anyone's strength, balance and endurance.
